Going back to what makes me happy and one of those things has to include blogging which I left high and dry in the past few months.

 

 

I always find that Topshop is the perfect go to place for clothes that are chic and can be worn any and everyday. I don't often wear shorts but I thought it would be cute if I mixed them up with these ankle boots to give my legs that elongated look.

 It has been way too long seen I have posted and I can not even begin to describe how much I have missed it.

Took these photos earlier on this week while I was out with my cousin because I was immediately drawn to this place because of the tribute to the late Nelson Mandela. As a nation we have so much to be grateful for because of his and others contribution to our freedom.

 Definitely will not be away for so long again. 

Sick..

Been so caught up with the now infamous #academicstruggle but when the weather decided to be kind and spoil us with some sun I had show a little leg which is something I rarely do. I do have a bit of a tomboyish background.

 

I had initially thought the backpack trend would skip me but I just had to have this one, its big enough for my books and I like its aged but still "fresh" look.

Promised myself I would not be one of those bloggers who wait decades in between posts but it seems I was a bit naïve considering that exams are around the corner and all my time is now spent at the library preparing for them.



I had a workshop on Campus today and so I decided to highjack a guy I've known from high school to take my pictures.

 

 

 

I'm certainly not brave enough yet to rock my crop top alone so I decided to layer using my denim shirt and it got a bit windy so it served as a jacket as well.

Officially Open For Blogging!

My very first blog post and it had to be this one, not particularly my favourite photo but its a good

 

indication of what to expect from I Wear What I Like. My blog is all about finding affordable clothes and then wearing them in different ways all the time, because for a student it is unrealistic to be seen in new clothes every time you step outside the house.. and I'll also be taking pictures many of my pictures in unconventional places.

I'm hoping for a lot of fun and for you guys to also enjoy this blog..
